Lichynia [liˈxɨɲa] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Leśnica, within Strzelce County, Opole Voivodeship, in south-western Poland.[1] It lies approximately 3 kilometres (2 mi) south-east of Leśnica, 11 km (7 mi) south-west of Strzelce Opolskie, and 35 km (22 mi) south-east of the regional capital Opole.
Before 1945 the area was part of Germany (see Territorial changes of Poland after World War II).
