"Liar" is a song written by Russ Ballard and performed by Three Dog Night. It reached #7 on the Billboard chart[1] and #14 in Canada in 1971.[2] It was featured on their 1970 album, Naturally.[3]
The song was produced by Richard Podolor.[4]
Other versions
- Ballard's band Argent released the original version of the song on their 1970 album, Argent. Their version was released as a single, but did not chart.
- The Meters released a live version of the song on their 1975 album, Uptown Rulers: The Meters live on the Queen Mary.
- Graham Bonnet released a version of the song as a single in June of 1981 that reached #51 on the UK Singles Chart.[5] It was featured on his 1981 album, Line-Up.
