Les Bidasses en folie is a French comedy film directed by Claude Zidi released in 1971.
Plot
Gérard, Phil, Jean-Guy, Jean and Luis, five inseparable friends, dream of creating a pop group under the name of The Tourist's. After having rented to Crème their instruments, they participate at a regional contest, in which they win the trophee.
But the young men are convened for their military service and it is impossible for them to avoid it. They introduce themselves at the barrack, where they are headed by Sergeant Bellec. Authoritarian, he manages well on leading them the hard life, but the five acolytes, more "peace and love" than anything else, cumulate awkwardness on awkwardness, with an evident unwillingness.
