Leptodactylus bufonius is a species of frog in the Leptodactylidae family. It is found in Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, and Paraguay. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical dry shrubland, subtropical or tropical dry lowland grassland, intermittent freshwater lakes, freshwater marshes, pastureland, and ponds.
