Lemberk Castle
Lemberk Castle is a castle located in the Lusatian Mountains of the Czech Republic, near the town of Jablonné v Podještědí.[1]
Geography
It is located in the heart of the Lusatian Mountains, in the village of Lvová just west of Liberec.[2]
History
It was most likely constructed in the close of the 12th century or beginning of the 13th, by Havel of Markvartice.
Today
It has undergone baroque improvements circa 1660,[1] but today only the cylindrical tower is still standing from the original structure.[3]
