Legavrik
Legavrik (from Scottish Gaelic leth-gheamhradh - literally "half-winter") was the name of the Winter half of the year—1 November to 30 April[1]—in Scotland. Variants include legawreik.
Legavrik is also the name of one of the eight annual fairs of Inverness, held on 1 February. [2]
