Lee Jung Shin (이정신, born on September 15, 1991) is a South Korean bassist, rapper, and actor. He is the bassist of South Korean rock band CNBLUE, which debuted in January 2010 in South Korea.

Life and career

Early life

Lee Jung Shin was born on September 15, 1991[1] in Seoul. His family consists of his parents and an older brother. His family lives in Ilsan, and he finished high school at Jung Bal High School there in Ilsan, South Korea, also.

Musical career

He trained in FNC in 2009. And in September 2009 he joined CNBLUE as bassist in replacement of Kwon Kwang Jin. Aside from being the bassist, he also serves as rapper and back- up vocals.

Modeling career

Lee is the youngest member of CNBLUE, as well as the tallest, standing at 187 cm.[2] He modeled for fashion designer Song Hye Myung for his "2010 Seoul Collection".[3] In 2011, he was picked to be a runway model for Seoul's Fashion Walk show, this time for fashion designer Song Ji Oh.[4] Lee was supposed to be part of Men's Fashion Week 2012 in Singapore; however, due to his schedule, he was unable to attend.[5] He was also featured as the main model in Cosmopolitan Magazine's May issue with model Choi Joon Young. In Cosmopolitan, Lee sheds his "nice guy" and clean-cut image and turns into a bad boy.[6] Singles Magazine's May issue also features Lee.[7]

Acting career

Lee debuted in 2012 KBS2 drama My Daughter Seo-young and since then he's been active as an actor. In 2013 Lee appeared in KBS2 drama The Blade and Petal, in 2014 he appeared in SBS drama Tempatation which starred Choi Ji-woo and Kwon Sang-woo. In 2015, Lee will be acting as a student who had to take the college entrance exam a second time in KBS2 drama special Thank You, My Son.[8]
