Le Guetteur (Italian: Il cecchino) is an Italian-French crime film directed by Michele Placido, with Mathieu Kassovitz and Daniel Auteuil, coproduced by Babe Films and Rain Entertainment. The film is distributed by Studio Canal. It premiered at the 2012 Cannes Marché du Film.[1] The film was marketed as 'The Lookout' in English-speaking territories.

Synopsis

Mattei is about to arrest a gang of bankrobbers, when an unknown sniper shoots most of the policemen on site under his responsibility.
