Laura Dunn (born September 26, in Evanston, Illinois) is an American writer, actress and model. She is the creator and writer of the lifestyle blog LauraDunn.com, an editor for Genlux Magazine and is most notable for playing "Cricket Box," Jack's wife in the infamous Jack in the Box commercials.

Early life

Dunn was born in Evanston, Illinois. She attended UCLA where she studied broadcast journalism before continuing her commercial acting career.

Career

Dunn has been in front of the camera most of her adult life. She has appeared in a number of television commercials and is best known for playing Jack's wife, "Cricket Box", in the Jack in the Box commercials. She played "Cricket Box", for 14 years.

As a model, Dunn spent five years in Europe walking the runway and modeling for campaigns for brands such as Coca-Cola, Evian, Jil Sander, Nike and Adidas among others.[1][2] In America she was cast as a model for Jordache Jeans and became one of the original "Jordache girls." Her other modeling credits in America included campaigns for Vidal Sassoon, Body Glove, Neiman Marcus and American Eagle Outfitters. Dunn has also been featured in magazines such as Vogue, Glamour and Bazaar.[3]

In 2009 Dunn shifted her focus to writing and started a lifestyle blog, Fabulous365, which she later renamed LauraDunn.com in 2015. She writes about fashion, beauty and health. This led her to GenLux Magazine in 2010 where she was asked to become a contributing editor and write a monthly fashion column.[4] GenLux is a magazine dedicated to those who are passionate about luxury, fashion and beauty in addition to philanthropy.[5][6]

Dunn continues to publish her blog, LauraDunn.com and write a monthly column for GenLux Magazine while working as a commercial actress.
