Lashar

Lashar is a small village in the southeastern province Sistan and Baluchestan in Iran

The people of Lashar are Black Africans. It is said that these blacks were brought to the Persian Gulf by Portuguese slave traders as early as the sixteenth century, they are called Ahl-i Hava (Followers of the winds) and worship the winds.[1] They are believed to be of Shangaan origin.[2]
