Langenburg No. 181, Saskatchewan, is a rural municipality of 558 rural residents (2006 census) in the east central part of Saskatchewan, Canada. On May 1, 1897, Local Improvement District (L.I.D) No. 79, was formed. The RM of Langenburg No. 181 was incorporated January 1, 1913.[1] Other localities in the area include Yarbo, Marchwell and Langenburg.[2][3][4]
A rural municipality is an administrative district consisting of an elected reeve, councilors, administrator who provide essential services within their area.
The Rural Municipality (RM) of Langenburg is an area of vast, rich prairie land. Highways #16, 22, 8, and 80 run through the municipality, with Carlton Trail Regional Park being located just along the RM's borders.— Langenburg No. 181 [5]
