Lancea tibetica is a herbaceous plant of Mazaceae family. L. tibetica found in grasslands, sparse forests, along streams around the altitude of 2000–4500 meters in Gansu, Qinghai, Sichuan, Xizang region of China, Bhutan, India, Mongolia, Sikkim[1] and Nepal.[2]
