Lakshdham High School

Lakshdham High School or LHS is a CISCE-affiliated independent, coeducational, English-medium secondary school situated at Gokuldham, Goregaon East, in Mumbai, India.

It was founded in 2007 as an ICSE school with classes from nursery to 10th standard/grade. It upgraded to 10th grade in 2011 and to a Junior College by 2012.

Motto

The motto of LHS is "विद्‌या विनयेन शोभते" which means "Modesty Adorns Knowledge" in Sanskrit

Amenity

Sports

Sports available include swimming, football, cricket, dodge ball and roller skating. The students take part in inter-school matches, in games like cricket, carrom and Skating. The school provides training in football and cricket.

Performing arts

In 2010, three students won 1st prize in a devotional music competition organized by Ramakrishna Matt. The school has a band with two bass drum players and four side drum players. This is not a musical band - it is used for the march-past of the council members, and during events like sports day.
