Kylecorragh Wood

Kylecorragh Wood is a woodland along the freshwater stretches of the River Nore in County Kilkenny, Ireland.[1]

It is located in the River Barrow and River Nore Special Area of Conservation.[1] Situated on the steeply sloping banks of the River Nore about 5 km west of New Ross, in County Kilkenny. Kylecorragh Woods forms a prominent feature in the landscape. It is an excellent example of a relatively undisturbed, relict Oak woodland with a very good tree canopy.

The wood is quite damp and there is a rich and varied ground flora.
