Kurt Farquhar
Kurt Farquhar is a Los-Angeles-based American television and film composer. A native of Chicago, he is a five-time BMI award winning including three for The King of Queens.[1] Farquhar is also the founder and CEO of True Music, a music licensing catalog operating out of Pasadena, California. [2][3]
Farquhar attended Berklee College of Music in Boston. He is best known for The King Of Queens, Moesha, The Proud Family, and South Central.[3] Farquhar's Wrote the opening theme for New Attitude, Rachel Gunn, R.N. , Sister, Sister, South Central, Moesha, Play'd: A Hip Hop Story, Real Husbands of Hollywood, as well as the closing theme for The King Of Queens from Season three until the series ended. Farquhar is currently working on the ABC Family show Stitchers[4] and Being Mary Jane
