Kung Fu Panda: Showdown of Legendary Legends is a video game based on the Kung Fu Panda franchise. It was released on a number of platforms including Nintendo 3DS, Wii U, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and Microsoft Windows in Europe on November 27, 2015, and in North America on December 1, 2015. The Wii U version was released on December 15, 2015.

Lucy Liu, James Hong and Randall Duk Kim reprise their roles from the film series.

Characters

The game features a total of twenty-four popular characters from the Kung Fu Panda franchise, with the first twenty available at the game's launch, *and the last four being new unlockable characters available after the release of Kung Fu Panda 3.

The game was first announced on May 4, 2015.[2]

Gameplay

The game is a 2.5D brawler game like Super Smash Bros., PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale, Mortal Kombat and other fighting games. The game will have "Tournament of Legends" mode, Practice Mode (similar to other fighting games), VS Mode, Team Play, and Tag Mode. Multiplayer will have the option for offline and online play.[2]
