Kris Reeder is a British trombonist.[1] Reeder was signed to Jupiter as a trombone artist in 2015.[2] Kris Reeder is leader of the 1984ensemble and is considered to be one of the leading trombonists of his generation.[2][3]

Kris Reeder has performed alongside some of the leading classical and jazz musicians globally [4] and is featured across the world.[5]

Kris Reeder studied at the Royal College of Music in London as a Scholar from 2001-2003 (Junior Department) and the Royal Academy of Music, London as a Scholar from 2003-2005.[6] Kris Reeder has released a number of Jazz and Avant-Garde EP's and singles internationally.[7]

Kris Reeder's notable collaborations include: 'Deep House Hits 2016' (Richard Gorton, Danny B II), [21] 'Radical Revolution' (SnazzyN, Bez II), [22] and 'Surface Instinct' (Cosmic Crusaders) . [23]

Kris Reeder's music has attracted support from prominent individuals including Nick Clegg MP [24] and Ed Miliband MP.[25]

Kris Reeder played at Wembley stadium, London in 2012[26] and at the Grimsbury Music Festival in 2015.[27]

Kris Reeder is a Winner of the Banbury Young Musician of the Year (2004) [28] and Won the SCABA Autumn Contest (Championship Section) with Wantage Silver A Band in 2012. [29]

Kris Reeder was elected Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts in 2014 [30] and was awarded an MA in Composition and Sonic Art by Oxford Brookes University in 2015. [31]
