Kotekal (Kannada: ಕೋಟೇಕಲ್ ) near Pamanakallur is a village in the Manvi taluk of Raichur district in the Indian state of Karnataka. Kotekal is located northwest to Manvi town. Kotekal lies on road connecting Raichur and Bagalkot.
Demographics
As of 2001 India census, Kotekal had a population of 958 with 470 males and 488 females and 180 Households.[1]
Importance
Kotekal is famous for the ancient forts (Kote in Kannada) located on hills in the village.[2]
