Kolsko [ˈkɔlskɔ] (German: Kolzig) is a village in Nowa Sól County, Lubusz Voivodeship, in western Poland. It is the seat of the gmina (administrative district) called Gmina Kolsko.[1] It lies approximately 24 kilometres (15 mi) north-east of Nowa Sól and 31 km (19 mi) east of Zielona Góra.
Before 1945 the area was part of Germany (see Territorial changes of Poland after World War II). Following World War II the native German populace was expelled and replaced by Poles.
The village has an approximate population of 1,000.
