Awards Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross

Klaus Nöske (26 November 1911 – 15 May 1978) was a highly decorated Major in the Luftwaffe during World War II and an Oberstleutnant in the Bundeswehr. He was also a recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross. The Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross was awarded to recognise extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership. Klaus Nöske joined the Bundeswehr in the 1950s and retired in 1968 as an Oberstleutnant.
