"Kiss of Life" is the third single from the English group Sade's fourth studio album, Love Deluxe (1992). The single was released in May 1993 and became a minor hit in the United States, peaking at number 78 on the Billboard Hot 100 and then went on to become Sade's seventh top 10 hit on the R&B chart peaking at #10.

Guitaurist Ken Navarro covered the song in the closing track from Navarro's 1997 studio album Smooth Sensation.

In 2005, trumpeter Rick Braun covered the song from the album "Yours Truly."[4][5]

The song was sampled in the MF Doom song "Doomsday" off of his debut album Operation: Doomsday.

In 2006, R&B singer Margot B. covered the song on her album "Margot B. Inspired"[6]

On the 2009 album, Mellow Beats, Friends & Lovers, Japanese hip-hop producer Nujabes created a cover of the song featuring Giovanca & Benny Sings.[7]
