Kingston Aces
The Kingston Aces was the name of two ice hockey teams based in Kingston, Ontario:
- The Kingston Aces played in the Ontario Hockey Association's Senior A league from 1965 to 1973. The team played in the Kingston Memorial Centre.[1]
- The Kingston Aces played in the Ontario Hockey Association's Eastern Ontario Senior Hockey League in 2005 and 2006. During this time the league was at Senior AAA level, having just been promoted from Senior A.
Other Kingston teams that have played in Ontario Hockey Association senior leagues include the Kingston Combines (1941-1942), Kingston CKLC's (1956-1958), and Kingston Merchants (1958-1959). Other Kingston teams in other leagues include the Kingston Frontenacs (1964-1965) and Kingston Voyageurs (1979-1989) in the MJBHL (Metro Junior B Hockey League), the Kingston Frontenacs (1972-1973) and the Kingston Voyageurs (1995-present (as of 2015)) in the Ontario Junior Hockey League, the Kingston Canadians (1973-1988), Kingston Raiders (1988-1989), and Kingston Frontenacs (1989-2015) in the Ontario Hockey League, the Kingston Frontenacs (1959-1963) in the Eastern Professional Hockey League, and the Kingston Voyageurs (1989-1995) in the Metro Junior A Hockey League.[1]
