Kim Il-sung Prize
The Kim Il-sung Prize is an award given by the Government of North Korea to persons in various fields who demonstrate exemplary service to the values of Juche idea.[1] Past winners include the Korean composer Kim Won-gyun[2]
Recipients
King Norodom Sihanouk of Cambodia was awarded the prize in 2012.[3] In 2014, Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni was nominated for the award, but repeatedly declined to receive it.[4]
