Kieran MacDonald (born 21 July 1993) is a Scottish professional footballer who plays for Airdrieonians as a left back or midfielder.

Early and personal life

MacDonald was born in Rutherglen on 21 July 1993.[1]

Career

MacDonald played youth football for Motherwell and spent two years with Clyde before joining Hamilton Academical in June 2014.[2] He later spoke about his transfer, stating he was looking forward to the challenge of playing at a higher level.[3] He moved on loan to Dumbarton in August 2014.[4] On 31 August 2015, MacDonald was released by Hamilton.[5] He signed for East Fife in October 2015, with the contract running until January 2016,[6] at which point he was signed by Scottish League One side Airdrieonians on a short term deal.[7]
