Khilji is a village in Arghakhanchi District in the Lumbini Zone of western Nepal. At the time of the 1991 Nepal census it had a population of 2,883 and had 546 houses in the village.It is one of the most developed villages in Arghakhanchi.The major casts living in this village are Magar,Brahamin(Pokhrel,Belbase, Banjade, Gaire,Damase and Chudali etc),Chhetri(Basnet,Khatri etc),Shrestha, Bishokarma, Pariyar and Sarki.
