Khera

Khera (Punjabi: ਖੇੜਾ; Hindi: खेड़ा)[1] is a South Asian surname, primarily used by the Punjabis from India. The Khera surname is found among the Aroras,[2] and the Khatris[3]

After the partition of India in 1947, all of the Kheras left what is now Pakistan and settled in India.

most of the kheras are living in the village named Sardar Nagar,uttrakhand,India 

The surname Khera (Punjabi: ਖੇੜਾ(with sound ੜṛaṛa) should not to be confused with Khehra/Khaira/Khara (Punjabi: ਖੈਰਾ /ਖਹਿਰਾ/ਖਰ੍ਹਾ(with sound ਰrara)(ਖਰ੍ਹਾ With half ਹhaha in the feet of ਰ)).
