Kharagpur College, established in 1949,[1] is one of the oldest college in Paschim Medinipur. It offers undergraduate courses in arts, commerce and sciences. It is affiliated to Vidyasagar University.[2]

The college is located in the heart of Kharagpur town in the district Paschim Medinipur, formerly called Midnapore.It is approx 4km. from Kharagpur Bus-stand.
Accreditation
Recently, Kharagpur College has been awarded B+ grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).[3] The college is also recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC).[1]
