Kerala Cricket Association Stadium or Edakochi Cricket Stadium is a cricket stadium, proposed to be built in Kochi, India, as the home ground for Kerala Cricket Association. The project is currently suspended due to various problems including lack of environmental clearance. Kerala is the only state association that does not own its own ground.[1] Currently, Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium is used as the KCA home ground.
History
The ground will be established in 23 acres with all facilities like practice stadium, indoor practice area etc. The ground will have floodlight so that stadium can host day-night matches with capacity of 50,000 persons. The stadium will be second design of Hopkins Architects after Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium.[2]
