Kents Bank railway station is a railway station that serves the village of Kents Bank in Cumbria, England. It is located on the Furness Line from Barrow-in-Furness to Lancaster.
The station building was designed by the Lancaster architects Paley and Austin in 1865 for the Furness Railway.[1]
Services
Kents Bank is served by both Northern Rail and First TransPennine Express who operate a basic hourly service with some two-hour gaps between Barrow-in-Furness and Lancaster. Certain Northern Rail trains are extended northwards to Carlisle and several southbound First TransPennine Express trains are extended to Preston and Manchester Airport.
