Kemal Karpat

Kemal Karpat is a Turkish historian and former professor at the University of Wisconsin–Madison.[1] He is of Turkish origin and was born in Babadag, Romania. He received his LLB from the University of Istanbul, his MA from the University of Washington and his PhD from New York University. He has previous worked for the UN Economics and Social Council and taught at Montana State University and New York University. He is currently working at Istanbul Şehir University.
