Keith Andrew Hunter ONZM FRSNZ is an Ocean chemist who is currently Professor of Chemistry and Pro-Vice-Chancellor, Sciences at the University of Otago.[1]
He was educated at Auckland Grammar School, graduated from the University of Auckland with a first class degree in Chemistry in 1974, and completed his PhD at the University of East Anglia in 1977.[2] He joined the University of Otago in 1979 and is a former President of the New Zealand Institute of Chemistry. He is an Officer of the New Zealand Order of Merit and a Fellow of the Royal Society of New Zealand.[3]
