Keilbahnhof
Keilbahnhof (plural: Keilbahnhöfe, literally: "wedge station") is the German word for a station located between branching tracks.[1] There appears to be no direct English equivalent for this term, which appears in the route diagrams of German railway lines.
Examples in Germany:
- Berga-Kelbra station on the Halle-Kassel line
- Hagenow Land station on the Berlin-Hamburg Railway
- Niebüll station on the Marsh Railway
- Nordstemmen station on the North-South railway
- Wittenberge station, Brandenburg
