Keiko Masuda
Keiko Masuda (増田 恵子 Masuda Keiko, born September 2, 1957 in Shizuoka, Japan) is a Japanese pop singer and actress. She is better known by her nickname Kei, and was one half of Pink Lady, the top idol group of Japan in the 1970s. In the United States, they are known for their self-titled TV program.
After Pink Lady broke up in 1981, she continued to perform in various entertainment activities. Her best selling solo single was "Suzume" (すずめ, lit. Sparrow), which sold 267,000 copies according to Oricon, and placed itself in the Top Ten.[1] The single was written by Miyuki Nakajima. Occasionally, Pink Lady reunite and Kei sings with her partner Mitsuyo "Mie" Nemoto.
