Kazys Maksvytis (born June 15, 1977 in Kretinga, Lithuania) is an Lithuanian professional basketball head coach.
Coaching career
Professional clubs
From 2011 to 2012, Maksvytis was started the head coach of the Lithuanian club BC Sakalai.
On 2012 began to train BC Neptūnas. 2012-13 season with the team he won the Lithuanian Basketball League third place. The 2013-14 season Maksvytis with the team won the second place in the Lithuanian Basketball League and won the right to play in the Euroleague next season.
National teams
While the head coach of the Youth men's Lithuanian national basketball team, Maksvytis won the gold medal at both the FIBA Europe Under-16 Championship, FIBA Europe Under-18 Championship, FIBA World Under-19 Championship[1] and the 2012 FIBA Europe Under-20 Championship
