Kaze no Daichi (Japanese: 風の大地, "Windy Plains") is an ongoing golf manga written by Nobuhiro Sakata (author of Dan Doh!!) and illustrated by Eiji Kazama. It has been published by Shogakukan in Big Comic Original since 1991 and collected in 66 tankōbon volumes as of 2015.[1][2] It received the 1993 Shogakukan Manga Award for general manga.[3]
The series is the story of Keisuke Okita, who takes up golf at the age of 24 and through talent, hard work, and good coaching quickly turns pro. After a good performance in Asian professional golf tours, he enters the British Open, where he falls in love with his caddy, Lily. He later participates other major golf tournaments, including the Masters Tournament.

Manga
The Japanese manga series Kaze no Daichi is written by Nobuhiro Sakata and illustrated by Eiji Kazama. It has been serialized in the seinen manga magazine Big Comic Original by Shogakukan since 1990. The chapters have been collected in tankōbon and are released by Shogakukan. The first volume of Kaze no Daichi was released on March 30, 1991.[1] As of October 30, 2014, sixty-three volumes have been released.[2]
