Kausaliya

Kausaliya (in Hindi कोसलीय) is a clan (Gotra) found among Yaduvanshi Ahirs of Haryana,[1]

Kausaliya claim to be descended from a great-grandson of Prithviraj Chauhan[2][3]

According to British historian Richard Gabriel Fox, King Kausal Singh of Kausalia clan established chiefdoms and had also established kingdoms near Jodhpur and Gwalior in the seventeenth century. He also gained an entry into Delhi court through an Ahir court noble whose daughter he married.[4][5]
