Karatia (Bengali:করটিয়া) is a suburb near Tangail city, Bangladesh. The town is situated 6.5 km away from Tangail city, 92 km northwest of Dhaka city, the capital. [1]
Education
Historical Government Saadat College is located in this town. Everyday almost 10,000 students come in Karatia to take lessons from different parts of Tangail and other villages.
