Karala village was established by King maharaajadhiraaj dheeraj singh matsyasar Who was soorya vanshi jaat from matsya dynasty which is situated in rajasthan including alwar, dholpur & bharatpur. Karala is a village in North West Delhi, India. It is located on the main Kanjhawla road, and is part of the Saraswati-Vihar sub-division.
Demographics
The main gotra of the people in Karala is Matsyasar later changed to Mathur. Later Came vats. Mathurs belong to the Jat community, not to be confused with Mathurs (Kayastha) who belong to UP. Mathur Jats are also found in nearby villages including Majri and Kirari. Vats belongs to Brahmins.
Geography
The village has now been merged with Rohini Sector 38. Nearby villages are Kanjhawala, Majri, Rani Khera, sultanpur dabas and Begumpur.karala has its own water tank.
Landmarks
There is a big temple in the town known as "Dada Mandu" used for worship by the people of Karala and Majri. There is also a big pond adjacent to the temple. The village also has a big stadium with a football playground.

Village Karala And Majri has mcd counsellor seat no-29. In 2012 mcd election mrs. maneesha has won the seat of mcd from congress party.
