Kaliyoonjalu is a 1998 Malayalam drama film starring Mammootty and Dileep.
Plot
After the deaths of his parents, Nandagopal raises his sister Ammu, who is suffering from epilepsy. She is a pampered child.Nandan wants his and his sisters marriage meets Gauri, who has a brother named Venu. He decides to marry Gauri on condition Venu must marry his sister. Venu marries Ammu for his sisters sake who was in love with Radha. After the marriage too Nandan cares Ammu as a child which disturbs Venu. On a night Ammu's bday party Ammu refused wear the saree brought by Venu instead Nandan brought one too. Humiliated Venu goes furiously out but passes away in a tragic motorcycle accident. Shocked Ammu is pregnant and has the baby. When performing the final rites for her deceased husband. She then commits suicide, leaving her child in the care of Nandan & Gauri.
