KWBT (94.5 FM) is a radio station broadcasting an Urban contemporary format. Licensed to Waco, Texas, USA, the station serves the Waco area. The station is owned by Jerry and Loy Lenamon, through licensee Kennelwood Radio, LLC.
History
The station went on the air as KANF on 11 August 1995. On 8 September 1995, the station changed its call sign to the current KBCT.[1]
On Decmebr 31, 2013, the KWBT calls and Urban contemporary format on 104.9 Bellmead moved to 94.5 while 104.9 FM became KBHT, who in turn launched a Rhythmic Top 40 format.[2]
