KMF Ekonomac Kragujevac (Serbian Cyrillic: КМФ Економац Крагујевац) is a futsal club based in Kragujevac, Serbia.
History
Early years (2000-2006)
Futsal Club Ekonomac was founded on 07.11.2000 by a group of students from the Faculty of Economics of the university of Kragujevac, Serbia; with professor Veroljub Dugalic at its front along with a group of his university colleagues. The club started competing in the lowest futsal league of Serbia at that time, with the goal of popularization of this sport at the university and in Kragujevac. During the next year the club made a big success and, with the reinforcement of new players, qualified to play in what was at that time known as the Republic League of Serbia. In the season of 2004/2005 Ekonomac started competing in the highest league ranking, where it is competing until this day.
Golden years (2006-2015)
In the season of 2006/2007 Ekonomac won second place in the national league. But the year 2008 was a year of big results. Ekonomac won the Balkan cup and two months later their first title of champion of Serbia. In the following seasons 2009/2010, 2010/2011, 2011/2012 Ekonomac defended its title of champion of Serbia. In the season of 2012/2013 Ekonomac won its first national futsal cup of Serbia. By winning the national championship in the same season, 2012/2013, Ekonomac became the most successful futsal club of all time in Serbia. As the most successful futsal club in the history of this sport in the country, Ekonomac continued with what might be the clubs best season so far, by winning the championship of 2013/2014 with an undefeated record (only one draw). With the start of the new season came new players, young, ambitious but inexperienced. With hard work and a highly experienced of the coaching staff, Ekonomac has once again shown that it is a great club, winning the title in season 2014/2015 as well as reaching the Elite Round in the UEFA Champions League.

By winning its first national title Ekonomac played the UEFA Futsal Cup Main Round and qualified to the next stage of the competition the Elite Round. Ekonomac set a large list of records its six appearances in UEFA Futsal Cup, being the only Serbian Futsal Club who participated six times, of which five in a row, in this competition and classifying to the Elite Round every time it participated in UEFA competitions, thus playing with the most elite futsal clubs in Europe Ekonomac proved that his position is with the elite.

History was made in 2015 when UEFA published the new futsal club ranking list where KMF Ekonomac was ranked as number fourth futsal club in Europe with 21,000 points. Honours
Bronze Boot
The Bronze Boot of the UEFA Futsal EURO 2012[1] went to Vidan Bojović the captain of Ekonomac who played for the national team of Serbia. He played two games fewer than the top pair after the quarter-final elimination of Serbia, having scored four in the record-breaking 9-8 win against Azerbaijan. Bojović's one assist left him above the other four-goal man, Aicardo of Spain. It is the first time the award has been decided in this manner; in 2010 the award was shared with goals scored the only criterium. By winning the Bronze Boot, Vidan Bojovic became the first player of Ekonomac to win such a prestigious UEFA award.
