Bashkimi, or K.B. Bashkimi is a basketball club created in 1945, in Prizren, Kosovo. In the 2014-15 season Bashkimi competed in Kosovo's first division ETC Superliga. Its fan club is called Arpagjik't. The 2015/16 season will be the first one for the team in an international competition- The BIBL, alias the Balkan League.
History
First Name of Bashkimi Basketball club was KB Bashkimi then was KB Big Brother Bashkimi from 2009 to 2011, then from 2011 to 2015 was KB Sigkos Bashkimi, and now is Bashkimi Prizren. After the Kosovo War of 1999, Bashkimi won the Kosovo Cup. The best-known players of the team since its founding include Davor Pejčinović, Johny Philips, Lee Benson, Schin Kerr, Vedran Bosnic, Billy Armstrong, Bledar Gjeqaj, and William Njoku.
Its main players now are Qendrim Biraj (C), Muhamed Hasani, Endrit Hysenagolli, Kreshnik Juniku, Adnan Mustafa, Tay Waller, Altin Morina, Tom Tankelewicz, and Mujo Tuljkovic. The coach is Petar Mijovic and now the team is one of the top 3 hopefuls the Kosovo Champion CUP.
