KBDZ (93.1 FM) is a radio station broadcasting a Classic Rock format. Licensed to Perryville, Missouri, USA, the station is owned by Donze Communications and features programming from Westwood One. The station has obtained a construction permit from the U.S. Federal Communications Commission (FCC) for an increase to 50,000 watts of effective radiated power.[1][2] The 50K watt signal will cover the southern part of the St. Louis metropolitan area south to Cape Girardeau, Missouri. The station's signal also covers a large part of the St. Louis metropolitan area's Metro East, Illinois and southern Illinois region.

On February 15, 2016, longtime Saint Louis radio personality JC Corcoran will debut on KBDZ during the morning drive time slot. Other local personalities will be announced after March 1.

KBDZ, branded a B93 before the signal increase, carried St. Louis Cardinals and St. Louis Blues broadcasts, but moved to AM sister station KSGM due to the FM signal's penetration into the St Louis area and overlap with the flagship of both networks, KMOX.

History

The station went on the air as KRAA on November 29, 1989. On September 21, 1990, the station changed its call sign to KBDZ.[3] In November 2013, KBDZ changed from a Country Music Format to Classic Rock.
