Jurij Koch
Jurij Koch (born 15 September 1936 in Horka, Upper Lusatia) is a Sorbian writer. He writes in both languages, German and Sorbian.
Koch's father was working in the nearby quarry, his mother did several jobs at farms. Jurij Koch went to school in Crostwitz, northern Czechoslovakia, Bautzen and Cottbus, and studied at the University of Leipzig.
He was working as an editor and reporter.
