Jurij Gladyr (Ukrainian: Юрій Гладир) (born 8 July 1984) is a Ukrainian volleyball player of Polish citizenship (since January 14, 2013),[1][2] a member of Ukraine men's national volleyball team in 2007–2011 and Polish club ZAKSA Kędzierzyn-Koźle, Ukrainian Champion (2005, 2006, 2008).

Career

Clubs

After winning three titles of Ukrainian Champion, he came to PlusLiga. He played one season 2008/09 in AZS Politechnika Warszawska and his team took 8th place.[3] Then he moved to ZAKSA Kędzierzyn-Koźle. In season 2010/11 he achieved first silver medal of Polish Championship. On March 12, 2011 ZAKSA, includin Gladyr, achieved silver of CEV Cup.[4] In season 2011/12 he gained bronze after winning matches with Jastrzębski Węgiel. On January 27, 2013 he won Polish Cup.[5] In season 2012/13 Gladyr achieved his second silver medal of Polish Championship, in the finale his team lost with Asseco Resovia Rzeszów.[6] On March 16, 2014 he won Polish Cup with ZAKSA.[7] In 2015 he extended contract with current team.[8]
