Juraj Tarr
Juraj Tarr (born 18 February 1979 in Komárno) is a Slovak sprint canoer who has competed since the late 1990s. Competing in three Summer Olympics, he won the silver medal in the K-4 1000 m event at Beijing in 2008.
Tarr also won seven medals at the ICF Canoe Sprint World Championships with a gold (K-4 500 m: 2007, K-2 500 m: 2014, K-2 1000 m: 2014), two silvers (K-4 200 m: 2009, K-4 500 m: 2006), and two bronzes (K-4 1000 m: 2007, 2009).
Tarr belongs to the Hungarian minority in Slovakia.[1]
