Julie Raque Adams (born June 11, 1969) is an American politician and a Republican member of the Kentucky House of Representatives representing District 32[2] since January 4, 2011. Adams is a 2014 candidate for Kentucky Senate.
Education
Adams earned her BA degrees from Saint Mary's College and the University of Notre Dame, and her MA from George Washington University.
Elections
- 2012 Adams was unopposed for both the May 22, 2012 Republican Primary[3] and the November 6, 2012 General election, winning with 16,038 votes.[4]
- 2010 When District 32 Representative Scott Brinkman retired and left the seat open, Adams won the May 18, 2010 Republican Primary with 2,663 votes (57.8%)[5] and won the three-way November 2, 2010 General election with 11,449 votes (62.9%) against Democratic nominee Nellie Stallings and Libertarian candidate Matthew Linker.[6]
