John "JuJu" Smith-Schuster (born November 22nd, 1996) is an American football wide receiver for the USC Trojans.
Early years
Smith attended Long Beach Polytechnic High School in Long Beach, California.[1] He played wide receiver and safety. Smith was rated by Rivals.com as a five-star recruit and was ranked as the second best safety in his class and 24th best player overall.[2] He committed to the University of Southern California (USC) to play college football.[3]
College career
Smith earned immediate playing time as a true freshman in 2014.[4][5] In his first career game he had four receptions for 123 yards.[6] Against Washington State, he had six receptions for 74 yards and three touchdowns.[7] He finished the season with 54 receptions for 724 yards and five touchdowns.
