Institute of Muslim Minority Affairs
The Institute of Muslim Minority Affairs is a London-based scholarly institution furthering the study of Muslims in non-Muslim nations. It holds conferences and publishes books and journals. Saleha Mahmood Abedin is Director of the Institute.[1] It was founded in 1978 by Syed Z. Abedin.[2]
Journal of Muslim Minority Affairs
The Journal of Muslim Minority Affairs is the flagship publication of the Institute. It was formerly known as the Institute of Muslim Minority Affairs Journal. It is the only scholarly journal dedicated to research on Muslims as minorities within non-Muslim societies.[3] Tarek Fatah, of the progressive Muslim Canadian Congress, writes that Saleha Mahmood Abedin promotes the Muslim Brotherhood Islamist ideology in her articles for the JMMA.[4]
