Social views

Robinson is an outspoken follower of Jesus. He has not been shy of publicly defending his faith; as part of Robinson's faith stance, he has publicly announced his beliefs opposing same-sex marriage. After the Supreme Court of the United States released their decision on Obergefell v. Hodges allowing same-sex marriages nationwide, Robinson made headlines when he compared same-sex marriage to incest and pedophilia.[8][9][10]

Former Vikings punter Chris Kluwe, a controversial figure in his own right, and outspoken proponent of gay rights and marriage equality, predicted that Robinson would come to regret his statements, tweeting: "Predicting 'my account was hacked' in three...two...one..." Later in the day, Robinson made his Twitter account private. Kluwe was the subject of several disputes with the Vikings organization and was released from the team.
